This month, the Berkley Construction team assisted in the remodel of a beautiful home in Montana located along the Gallatin River.
The project included installation of three types of natural cedar siding (plus trim) that were applied. The siding including Vertical Shiplap painted black, Horizontal natural stained cedar, and Tongue and groove smooth cedar planks for the soffits. The team separated the different styles of siding with a 1x4 rough sawn cedar painted black.
Normally a job this size would have taken at least five weeks, but the team was able to finish in just three weeks despite the chilly weather. To make up for the days of heavy snow and wet conditions, the team often had to get the lights out and work into the night to make the schedule. They finished with a few hours to spare, which gave them time to install two bedroom windows that were previously scheduled for a future work trip.
